EMEA Distribution Transformation Leader Location: Cracow or hybrid Ref. PL22- R201 – S05
Our Client is a global leader in metal flow engineering.
Position goal:
Transformation of the EMEA Distribution processes in field of Warehousing and transportation
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to EMEA Logistics Director you will be responsible for:
- leading the European distribution network transformation for 2 Business Units
- identification and understanding business & customers’ needs in field of finished goods and spare parts distribution
- development and designing lean distribution architecture
- driving Working Capital & Freight cost reduction
- TMS (Transport Management System) implementation within locations in EMEA.
- identification and preparing key internal processes essential for the smooth TMS implementation (Item master data, scheduled production date, etc.)
- running European freight tender to limit number of carriers, reduce cost and select partners supporting long term partnership.
- EMEA Distribution network optimization:
- development and implementation of lean European network for the finished goods and spare parts distribution
- reducing local storage footprint
- increasing visibility in the supply chain
- reducing distribution cost and value of involved working capital.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related field from an accredited university
- Experience and proven track record in European distribution network design & implementation
- Experience in TMS / WMS implementation and interfacing with operating ERP (SAP)
- Minimum 9 years’ experience in international organizations in field of Logistics and Operations within international environment
- Awareness of Logistics industry’s latest technology trends and applications
- Change management experience
- Objective driven, analytical, structured, focused and determined leader, paying attention to the details and aware of the process’s interdependencies
- Able to communicate effectively and deliver under pressure in complex international environment
- Proficiency in English (C1) and Polish
- Willing to travel on business (25-30% of time)
