Our Client is the world market leader in the design, manufacture, delivery, service and optimization of durable, high-quality equipment that companies use for recovering and upcycling leftovers from processing meat, poultry, fish and various kinds of industrial waste into sustainable feed and food products, ingredients, proteins and biofuels.

 

Reporting to the Operational Purchasing Manager (Denmark), you will be mostly responsible for:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure to place PO´s in a timely manner for the suppliers categories that belongs to you
  • Execute a daily extract of the missing order confirmations and backorders to follow up on those with the suppliers
  • Make sure our Client  receives order confirmations that confirms delivery at the requested date and if not, clarify if we in some cases can accept deviations or work with the supplier, or alternative suppliers, to find a solution that ensures our Client  will not be at risk of delays and keep key stakeholders informed throughout the entire sourcing process
  • Ensure that PO issued and invoices received are matching and if not, clarify this initially internally, with the supplier and if our Client  prices are incorrect, pass on the task to the Category Manager for clarifying and updating if required
  • Develop and sustain appropriate and value generating supplier relations and strong cooperation with internal stakeholders
  • Monitor that items required are from our Client’s base of “preferred suppliers”
  • Participate in internal projects initiated by, or supported by Sourcing & Procurement
  • Deal effectively with incoming requests in the ERP system, make required items needed available in D365 for purchasing and be a central role in the endeavor to choose the most optimal supplier at the best commercial conditions within an agreed timeline, to the requester of the item/purchase
  • Build up strong cooperation with relevant key stake holders locally and globally
  • Be an active part of the local and global Procurement team by being open, honest, strait forward, cooperative, prepared and meet agreed targets, deliveries and responsibilities
  • Be a strong role model for the company’s journey towards an implementation of the use of “Preferred Suppliers”, support their efforts of reducing the number of suppliers used,
  • Enforce a one company culture with a customer and supplier mindset

 

Qualifications: 

  • a Master Degree from a Business School or University
  • 3+ years of experience in operational procurement within international environment
  • Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Very good time organization - ability to perform own tasks in a structured, and responsible manner
  • Collaboration and business partnering skills
  • Fluent English and Polish
