Our Client is a leading global supplier of products for hydronic distribution systems which deliver optimal and energy efficient heating and cooling systems to the residential and commercial building sectors.
- The purpose of the role:
The program office procurement engineer/ manager manages the procurement actions in terms of regular follow up (sourcing board, key actions meetings), the function reporting (KPIs, commodities, forecasting), the JDE improvements and the procurement processes , definition and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
In this newly set role you will be reporting to Divisional Procurement Manager for 3rd Party Products and you will be mainly responsible for:
- KPIs: Prepare the procurement KPIs on monthly basis for the various buying entities, analyse deviations and root causes, suggest corrective actions. Review the definitions, and automize them where necessary
- Commodities: track the relevant commodities, prepare regular updates and propose actions where necessary to save cost and ensure availability.
- Program office: manage the procurement actions pipeline (cost, availability, quality, etc) by organizing regular reviews, keeping track on the advancements, and driving a recovery whenever required.
- Processes: review the procurement processes and improve (direct, indirect, investment)
- ERP JDE: manages the JDE core team for the division, define improvements and follow up on execution
- Forecasting and budgeting: run the process for the division in collaboration with finance.
- Sourcing board: run the regular meeting ensuring compliant process is applied efficiently
Qualifications:
- Engineering, business or finance degree
- 10+ years of working experience across procurement, project management, consulting within international environment
- 5+ years of working experience in strategic procurement (Category/Commodity Management) or procurement controlling or procurement consulting within matrix structure organization
- Previous experience in automotive, complex industrial or electronics industry
- Very high analytical and business acumen skills
- Ability to work strategically
- Fluent English, German a plus
- High degree of integrity and transparency
- Ability to work within the organization at all levels
- High level of drive and personal commitment, work as an owner
- Adaptability and resilience
