Reporting to the Alternative Fuels Manager you will be mostly responsible for:
- Preparing a market mapping of alternative fuels and waste suppliers
- Sourcing and introducing new suppliers
- Conducting suppliers negotiations and contract administration
- Maintaining strategic relationships with key suppliers
- Analyzing supply market, anticipating changes, and driving associated procurement activities
- Evaluating contracts and suppliers in order to facilitate final supplier base decisions with relevant stakeholders
- Ensuring that products are purchased in the most cost- and time-efficient manner
- Maintaining waste and alternative fuels suppliers data base
- Controlling suppliers of waste and alternative fuels in terms of compliance of the delivered material with the administrative decisions held by the supplier
- Assuring proper level of waste and alternative fuels allowing for the achievement assumed production level
- Tracking changes in the waste management regulations in the context of their impact on the waste and alternative fuels market
- Participating in creation of economic, process and technical assumptions for investment projects in the area of waste processing and production of alternative fuels
- Participation and coordination of projects, cost control in relation to budget assumptions for the implemented projects
Qualifications:
- University degree - technical or linked with environmental protection and management, preferably waste management or similar
- Minimum 3 years of experience in waste management including suppliers sourcing and contracting
- Experience in waste pre-treatment technical projects
- Up to date waste market knowledge
- Good negotiation skills
- Knowledge of the technical drawings sufficient to read the design documentation
- Very good written and verbal English (at least B2 level)
- Pro activity, initiative and creativity
- Analytical skills
