Strategic Category Buyer - IT (EMEA region) Location: Cracow/ or full home office Ref. PL22-R702-S08
Our Client is a is a global leader in industrial trucks, warehouse technology, related services and supply chain solutions. They are operating across more than 100 countries and employ around 40,000 employees.
They are relatively new central procurement organization that was set up in Poland last year. Out of their office in Cracow they will support internal stakeholders in EMEA region. You will be a part of 7 people team located in Germany.
The positions reports to the Head of Supplier Management located in Germany.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Accompanying international purchasing and contract negotiations
- Managing out tasking and outsourcing contracts (SLA management)
- Conducting RFQ process
- Project management of smaller and collaboration in medium to large international projects
- Drafting of contracts in cooperation with the legal department, data protection and HR
- Supporting, evaluation and operational management of suppliers
- Supporting in the supervision and management of strategic partners
- Collaboration in the analysis of procurement markets and selection of strategic partners
- Supporting in the design of make-or-buy considerations
- General contract, asset, license and order management
- Collaboration in the optimization of procurement processes
Qualifications:
- bachelor or master in engineering or equivalent university degree
- relevant experience (4+years) where the candidate has conducted Purchasing activities in the IT category
- experience in working in cross-functional teams and in an international environment
- experienced with negotiations and contract management of international and local suppliers, where cost savings have been achieved and where strong purchasing skills (ability to analyze complex data and develop strategies) have been demonstrated
- excellent stakeholder management, presentation skills, well organized and knowing how to set priorities
- high analytical skills and willing to achieve results in a team environment
- self-motivated, independent, focused on results, enthusiastic, committed, team player and must be a good listener and observer
- fluent English and German is mandatory
