Our Client is a global leader in metal flow engineering.
Position goal:
In this role within local procurement department you will report to the Purchasing Manager and you will optimally manage a direct materials spend covering purchases and vendors across Raw materials (ex. chemicals, tabular alumina, calcites/reactive alumina, white fused alumina) and packaging. You will manage tactical and strategic Direct sourcing projects ranging from raw material purchase searches and price agreements, to more complex projects revolved around ensuring a stable commercial supply chain for the production. You will participate in global projects aiming at cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiation of commercial conditions
- Leading saving and improvements projects
- Preparing and managing claim process
- Close cooperation with plants aiming to close current issues and search for new better solutions
- Participation in global projects
- Searching for new supplier and new materials
- Evaluation/auditing suppliers
Qualifications:
- University degree preferably in Supply Chain, Economics, Management, Procurement, Engineering or equivalent fields of study
- C.a 5 years experience in Purchasing department in the production company
- Very good command of English
- Knowledge of SAP
- Experience in negotiations with foreign suppliers
- Experience in Leading projects
